Lina was born June 5, 1978 in a small town in upstate New York. Her parents transferred with the military to a small town in Arkansas when she was 9 years old.
She has enjoyed singing since she was a little girl. Somehow, she went from being a very outgoing little girl to a shy teenager.

Theatre productions in high school helped her to break out of her shell, but there was still something missing. She began working at the local steel mill right after high school graduation. Eight years later, sherealized that she would have to move to a bigger city in order to get involved in acting and singing again. As soon as she made the move, she met some people in the independent film industry.

She still has a job at the steel mill, but hopes to pursue acting full-time in the future. "Acting is not something I want to do, it's something I have to do. Nothing makes me happier. "
